The Reading For Pleasure Tube Map
This is a really good resource if you know what type of story you like, but aren't quite sure of the authors who write in that genre. For example, if you are a fan of Harry Potter books, then the books on the 'Potter Line' have an element of magic / fantasy that you might enjoy as an alternative to J.K. Rowling's series.
This link will take you to the Book Trust's website. The Book Trust have complied a list of 25 books for children aged 9-11 years. How many have you read? Perhaps you could try to read a few: you will find some of them in our school library.
