Howdy, Year 6! We hope that you are well and happy. Thank you for the work on Twitter and via email, especially the videos!! Very impressive!

Open the pdf below for a problem solving challenge. Choose any two questions and have a go – you can even do more if you want to! Questions 7 and 8 are aimed at 11-15 year olds so, if you’re feeling brave, you might want to give those a crack! Please do any working out in your exercise book.
We would also like you to use TT Rockstars. We will be able to see the progress that you are making with this so please make sure that you login and have a go. Please use ‘Soundcheck’.
To round off the half-term, we’d like you to complete the punctuation task – see what you can remember!
There is no need to print the pages. Just answer the questions in your exercise book. If there is a multiple choice question, just write the correct option. For question 7, just say whether each one is singular or plural. Just think how you’d answer it if you were using a whiteboard in Boosters – that’ll be fine.
Now it is time to think more about budgeting and a bank account. This is something adults have to do all the time. Having responsibilities like children, houses and pets, for example, mean that wants and needs have to be carefully weighed up before splashing the cash.
Right click on the ‘Bank Statements’ pdf to open it in a new window or tab. Remember you can always ask an adult if you don’t understand something. Then, complete the ‘Bank Statement Task’. You can do this in your exercise book.
Here is an optional challenge:
HERE ARE TODAY'S ANSWERS:
