Good morning Class 12! laugh

Hope you're all well! Hasn't the weather been much nicer?

So next Friday would have been our Sports Day! I have been thinking of Sports Day activities that you could do at home to mark this. Do let me know on Socrative if you have any suggestions to add? Remember, not everyone will have lots of PE equipment like we do at school, so be mindful of this too!  wink

Yesterday at school, year 6 also watched the Arctic live lesson - Arctic Food Chains. They loved hearing some of your questions answered!

In the evening, as it cooled off, I went for a run around the country park! It was lovely to be able to get outdoors after last week's weather.

I came across a video by Joe Wicks at the weekend, which summarises his hard work during the lockdown period. Whether or not you did every workout or even some of them, it is great to acknowledge and appreciate his effort during this lockdown. He has made a difference and has helped many people stay active! Watch the clip below!

A look back on 13 weeks of PE With Joe ❤️

What a journey we have all been on together ❤️ Thank you for being a part of it with me. I’ve loved every single moment of it. Never give up, always believe in yourself and keep turning up!

Niva - Ooo making pancakes for Father's Day is lovely! I like how you did a family Just Dance too! Lovely to hear that you made your big sister smile by giving her a big hug!

Tori - Amazing to read that you did 15 laps around your garden to mark our Sponsored walk. Well done Tori! Beacon Hill is lovely too! Loving the air high five with Rocco! Is it nice being back in school or does it feel strange?

Abigail - Wow! 35 laps on your bike around the crescent is fantastic! Well done Abigail! Glad you recorded this too, to record your completion. Yes I agree! Being at school during the Sponsored walk, with the community atmosphere and parents cheering you on is something I missed too! I like how you greeted the postman yesterday morning!

Ollie - Your barbeque sounds lovely, especially with your card games and playing on the trampoline too! You could make anyone laugh, whether it was the chicken dance or telling your jokes! Glad you put a smile on your grandpa's face!

Keep smiling!
