Mrs Gohil

Good morning class 11,

So, we had the final day of the summer term for this academic year today. I can not believe how quickly this year has passed. We had an emotional end to the week saying goodbye to both the Year 6 children and Miss Mistry.

The Year 6 children had an online assembly that shared their Foundation Stage pictures and the rest of the school even sent a farewell song video. We ended the day with a party outside with crisps,  pop, cake and even Dominos pizza. Finally, the children in school gave the Year 6 children a guard of honour, clapping and cheering as they walked out of the school grounds for the final time. It may not have been the final day they had envisioned but we gave them a farewell they deserved.

We also said goodbye to Miss Mistry and although we will miss her incredibly, we wish her well on her new chapter in life. Thank you to all the children who sent in a message for her card. Here are some pictures of it:

I am so grateful that it was not you children that we were saying goodbye too and that we will see each other again in September. You will be finding out who your new teacher will be via emailing and following that I will be posting a letter from them on the website so please come back and check. There were some interesting predictions, but you will have a great teacher no matter who it is.

Lacey and Liam, thank you for thinking of me today, I am very grateful and it means a lot.

We have 7 days of school left, keep up all the hard work!
