Mrs Gohil

It's the FINAL DAY OF SCHOOL!

I can't believe this is finally here, the year and these last few months have flown by so quickly. I am so disappointed that we are not able to be together today to say our goodbyes and farewell but I am happy in the knowledge you are all ready for year 6! You are going to love being in Miss Chester's class and you'll have lots of fun being the big boys and girls in school. You are ALL coming back to school in August which is fantastic news, make sure you come and say hello! It may look and feel a little different but you are all so resilient that you will be fine! I am extremely proud of the way you have coped with all the changes and remember: if it doesn't break you, it'll make you!

Well done with the TT Rockstars battle, it was soooo close but I am glad that Class 12 got to win this time. Congratulations to Ellie on her Silver award for the Home Challenges, her recording of evidence was fantastic too.

Thank you to the 6 children you went on to Socrative to look at the class photos. I had some excellent answers to the questions. My favourite was Fern's response to how and when Ellie became an astronaut:

Fern: in her dreams😂😂      I actually laughed out loud!

The most selfless comment which made my day; what are you going to ask Santa for this year:

logan b: santa to give me a vaccine for covid-19.

Some other great responses:

Grayson: Sophia and Lacey teleported into the picture

Aryan: Liam is smiling about being on a trip in his favourite rocketship

What’s lurking under the sea?

Oflynn, Isla: Du du. Du du. Du du. Du du. Du du...... BABY SHARK DODODODODODO MOMMY SHARK DODODODODODO DADDY SHARK DODODODODODO GRANDMA SHARK DODODODODODO GRANDPA SHARK DODODODODODO  -

Where would you like to see a sunset

Parekh, Aryan: On a tropical beach in Hawaii that would be beautiful 😯

Where would you send James and Aryan in a rocket?

Abigael Atete: to Antarctica-

If you would like to see what these comments are all about, log onto Socrative and you will see the class photos. I will leave them up for another day.

Well, this is the last time you will hear from me this side of the summer holidays. crying I hope you all have a well-deserved break and continue to keep safe. Sending you all big virtual hugs and very much looking forward to seeing you all in the new term! Take care and stay positive,

Your 2019/20 teacher of year 5,

Mrs Gohilheart
