Other Activities

Welcome to the 'other activities' page. Here, we will be putting up activities for you to complete throughout the week, instead of each day. You can choose when you wish to complete them! We will add some new activities over the course of the week, so make sure to check back regularly!

This final geography task is a project for you to do over the final two weeks of the term.

This week, we would like you to have a go at some of these Kahoot quizzes to test your knowledge of some of the things that we have covered across the course of Year 4! Try and spread out all of the activities so you cover them over course of the week! Remember to take your time and read the questions carefully. If you have forgotten, just give it a guess, but make sure to check the answer the carefully! Good luck :)

Our next activity on Scratch is to create a funky disco!

Book Review

At some point this week, we would like you to have a go at completing a book review about something that you have read recently! Below is a template for how you might wish to set out your review! Alternatively, you can print it off and complete the sections on the sheet! Make sure that you complete each section in as much detail as possible!

Have a go at copying out this weeks poem which is below. Make sure to use your neatest handwriting and most importantly: Take your time! You can use your handwriting books or, if you've run out of pages, there are some printable handwriting lines attached below:

TT Rockstars

Make sure you have a few games on TT Rockstars, as usual. Remember, by the end of Year 4 you are expected to know all your times tables so it's important that you're well prepared for Year 5.

Don't forget to go onto Spellodrome and keep up to speed with your spellings! A couple of minutes each day would be a nice way to start off your morning or finish off your learning in the afternoon. The choice is yours. We will be looking to see who has been going on.

To make sure you are staying up to date with everything that is happening. Try and get onto newsround at least once a week. Make a note of anything you find interesting and let us know on Socrative.

Guided Reading

Last week, hopefully you had a go at reading chapters 6 and 7 of 'The Ickabog'. This week, we shall continue by looking at chapters 8 and 9 and also answering some questions! Make sure to read the text carefully and highlight anything which you think may be important for the questions. Finally, after you've answered the questions, use the answer sheet provided to mark your work. Enjoy :)

Previous chapters and questions:

Similar to last week, we would like you to have a go at the activity below. There are three different levels (easy, medium and hard) so you can choose the one which you prefer! The answers are also below so you can mark your work/check if you are unsure afterwards. Good luck :)
