Maths

Today, you are going to learn about circles and some of the key vocabulary associated with this 2d shape.

Open the PowerPoint for today’s lesson. Please view it in ‘Slide Show’ mode (look in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen to find the downloaded document). You may enable editing.

Then, have a go at the Circles Task. You can answer the questions in your exercise book. Look carefully at the information you are given so that you know whether to calculate the diameter or the radius.

Once you have completed that, there is an extra challenge if you would like to do it:

We would also like you to use TT Rockstars. We will be able to see the progress that you are making with this so please make sure that you login and have a go. Please use ‘Soundcheck’.

English

Today, you are going to continue with the story of Treasure Island. The focus for today is predicting. Right click on the pdf to open it in a new window or tab. You may write your prediction in your exercise book.
