Hello, Year 6! Time for another day in Learning Land!
Here are Tuesday’s answers:
The Daily Joke:
How does the solar system organise a party?

Click here for today’s Newsround Story.
It’s not a new story but it’s a relevant one!
For English, there is a grammar booklet based on sentences, clauses and phrases. Each page contains a reminder before a quick task. You are used to doing these sorts of activities from Boosters. Indicate the correct answer in your exercise book in an appropriate manner. There is no need for excessive copying, just apply some common sense. If the question asks you to circle a word, just write the word down. If you’re asked to tick an option, just refer to it as option 1, 2, 3 or 4.
For today’s maths you are going to start a new unit of work about ‘angles’. There is a video to watch, then a task to complete. You can answer the questions in your exercise book. If you do not have a protractor, don’t worry, just answer what you can.
Remember, you can pause the video at any point.
Start by watching the video and then open the pdf sheet underneath for the questions.
Continue to add to your project what you have found out about the way Vikings lived in Britain. Include what you learnt yesterday about food, beliefs, clothes and settlers and what you learnt on Monday about longhouses and farming. Try to finish this section today. There is plenty to write about!
Don’t forget to look at the Music, French and R.E activities: they look fun!
