Vision Statement
History will give children a knowledge of the past in both Britain and the wider world, an understanding of chronology and a command of a range of skills, processes and concepts. This will enable learners to appreciate the past whilst identifying connections throughout history and to the modern world in which they live.
As part of the When Champion Heritage Schools Sing project, Year 4 worked with folk group The Young 'Uns to write a song about our local history. You can listen to it here:
