Literacy

This year we will be focusing on:

• Rhyme and alliteration.
• Clapping or counting the syllables in words.
• Recognising words with the same initial sounds, e.g. milk and mum.
• Writing our names
• Learning the different parts of a book, page sequencing and understanding that print has meaning and different purposes.
