How can I let the school know that I have concerns about my child?

If you have concerns about your child’s progress, you should speak to your child’s class teacher initially. They will be able to reflect on your concerns and share their views on your child at school. Intervention forms an integral part of our day to day teaching and learning and often they can share with you specific support, either at the point of misconception or ongoing, that may already be in place.

If you continue to be concerned that your child is not making progress, you may speak to the Special Education Needs/Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) or the headteachers.

The school SEND Governor can also be contacted for support.
